Kevin Drake

Owner & President

Kevin has over thirty years’ experience in the construction industry, working in various positions including superintendent, project manager, and estimator. Ten years ago, Kevin and Dana, his wife, purchased FPI to ensure its legacy would continue. Over the past decade, Kevin has led FPI Builders to nearly triple its annual revenue while building lasting relationships with many architects and clients.

Sterling Barnett

Director of Operations

Sterling joined FPI Builders fresh out of college and quickly gained knowledge in all aspects of the construction industry under the mentorship of Kevin Drake. Sterling has over nine years’ experience and worked his way from intern to Director of Operations. He is responsible for all aspects of daily operations for project execution. He also leads the LEAN construction initiative for FPI Builders, along with implementing new technologies for the company. Sterling is also a minority shareholder in FPI Builders, further positioning the company for future growth and continuing its legacy.

Coy Warner

Director of Pre-Construction

Coy leads FPI Builders pre-construction efforts by overseeing estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, and project planning. His collaborative approach allows clients to make informed decisions early in the process while minimizing surprises during construction. Whether evaluating design options, identifying cost-saving opportunities, or coordinating with trade partners, his focus is always on delivering value and setting projects up for success.
